Ronald W. Virag, CTFA
President & Chief Operating Officer of AmeriServ Trust & Financial Services Company

Mr. Virag has over thirty years of trust experience. He is a graduate of St. Vincent College, Latrobe, Pennsylvania where he earned a B.A. Degree in Economics. He attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and is an honors graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University, a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, a Certified Financial Services Counselor, and an Accredited Estate Planner. Ron has been active in state, regional and national trust schools and training programs. He has served as an instructor and lecturer at the National Trust School and National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University and in the paralegal training program at Penn State University’s Behrend Campus. He has also taught trust and estate administration at the Pennsylvania Trust School, the Midwest Trust Schools and Cannon Financial Institute. Ron has served as a member of the CTFA Advisory Board for the Institute of Certified Bankers and as a member of the Editorial Board for CTFA Magazine. He is a member of the Trust Specialty Real Estate Committee, and the Cambria/Somerset Counties Estate Planning Council, Chairman and Founder of the Fiduciary Education Foundation and active in many professional and community organizations..


David L. Mordan, CPA, CFP

Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Manager, Union Relationship Management Division of AmeriServ Trust & Financial Services Company

Dave has over twenty years experience in fiduciary taxation and accounting, and the administration of trusts and retirement plans. He supervises the administration and operation of the specialty real estate investment funds and is the senior relationship manager for all union business. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has completed the certification program through the College of Financial Planners, Denver, Colorado, earning the Certified Financial Planner designation. A graduate of Penn State University, he is also a member of the Trust Specialty Real Estate Committee, the Institute of Management Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and active in many other professional and community organizations.


Gary M. McKeown

Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of AmeriServ Financial Bank

Gary has over thirty-five years of banking experience. In addition to his responsibilities as the Chief Lending Officer for AmeriServ Financial Bank, Gary serves as the chairman of the Trust Specialty Real Estate Committee. For over fifteen years, Gary has provided reviews and recommendations for commercial banking transactions. He earned a Master of Public Administration degree and a graduate certificate in financial management from the University of Pittsburgh. He is graduate of the Community College of Allegheny County and an honors graduate of Point Park College in Pittsburgh, PA. Gary taught various banking courses for the American Institute of Banking. He is the chairman of the Trust Specialty Real Estate Committee, director of the Pittsburgh Chapter of Robert Morris Associates, and a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Committee of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association.


Wayne B. Niel

Specialty Real Estate Liaison Officer of AmeriServ Trust and Financial Services Company
Mr. Niel has over eight years experience in accounting, lending, and trust. He assists with the administration and operation of the specialty real estate investment funds, including review and approval of project investments. He also serves as the secretary for the Trust Specialty Real Estate Committee. Mr. Niel earned a B.S. Degree in Business Economics with concentrations in Accounting and Finance from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
